Make local action a sport they actually want to win.
Make local action engaging — and visible. Franchisees earn points, badges, and scores for the local work the franchisor has always wanted them to do.
From assigned to done — in one workflow.
Every action scores
Completed missions and launched opportunities contribute to a location's score — that's the work that moves the network.
Leaderboards make it real
Network and regional leaderboards turn quiet effort into visible momentum.
Tiers unlock recognition
Badges and tiers feed coaching workflows and real-world rewards at convention.
Built for the way franchises actually work.
Recognition for the work
Local marketing is invisible work in most networks. Scoring finally makes it visible — and competitive.
Healthy competition
Leaderboards turn 'do your local marketing' into a game owners actually want to play.
A clear path to mastery
Badges and tiers give owners something to work toward — beyond just 'next quarter'.
What is Scoring & Rewards?
The engagement layer of GlowLocal — how quiet local work becomes visible, competitive, and worth chasing.
How does scoring work?
Every mission completed and every opportunity launched contributes to a location's score. Points are set by the franchisor per mission type, so the work you care most about is worth the most.
What leaderboards exist?
Network-wide, regional, and cohort-based leaderboards. Owners see where they stand against peers of similar size or market — not just the top five nationally.
What are badges and tiers for?
Badges recognize specific accomplishments (first sponsorship, consistency streaks, top-quartile finishes). Tiers give owners a clear ladder to climb — beyond 'just do more this quarter.'
Can we customize scoring?
Yes. The franchisor configures points by mission type, weights strategic priorities more heavily, and can run themed scoring 'seasons' aligned to campaigns or product launches.
Are there real rewards?
That's up to the brand. Many networks layer in tangible rewards on top of the scoring system — convention recognition, early access, marketing co-op credits, or preferred market placement.
What if franchisees don't care about leaderboards?
Leaderboards are one of several engagement layers. Personal progress bars, badges, peer shoutouts, and franchisor recognition all matter too — owners self-select what motivates them.
Does it feel like 'big brother' to franchisees?
It shouldn't. Scoring is framed around the work owners are already doing and gives them credit for it. It's recognition, not surveillance — and it replaces the anecdotal favoritism most networks run on today.
Why does gamification work here?
Franchise owners are operators. Operators love metrics, ranks, and well-designed competition. Properly designed scoring turns local marketing — historically the least exciting thing on their list — into something they want to win.
